World Vegetarian Day Recipes

September 30, 2022

October 1st is World Vegetarian Day.

You don’t have to be vegetarian to celebrate World Vegetarian Day. Cutting out meat for one meal or for a whole day is a great way to celebrate World Vegetarian Day.

Here are some low-sugar vegetarian recipes you can make for World Vegetarian Day to celebrate.

Roasted Vegetable Pasta

Yummly provides this quick and easy vegetarian recipe you can make for lunch or dinner to get more vegetables into your diet. Find the full recipe here.

Vegetarian Enchiladas

This BBC Good Food recipe provides a delicious vegetarian alternative to meat enchiladas. This recipe shows you can still enjoy your favourite dishes this World Vegetarian Day. Find the full recipe here.

Carrot and Sultana Scones

This Waitrose carrot and sultana scone recipe means you can also enjoy a sweet vegetarian treat for World Vegetarian Day. Although low in sugar, the scones are naturally sweet because of the natural sweetness of the carrots. Find the full recipe here.
