Video Competition: World Cavity-Free Future Day 2022

September 5, 2022

Are you keen to get involved this World-Cavity Free Future Day? We are running a video competition which is open internationally. We want to know what YOU will be doing to celebrate World Cavity-Free Future Day 2022. We are looking for individuals or groups who are organising their own local event or campaign around this year’s WCFFDay theme of ‘Let’s Get Brushing’.

To get involved, film a video of an event/activity/campaign you organised or took part in for World Cavity-Free Future Day 2022. The style and format of your video is up to you. You could film a mini documentary on how you organised your event, or you could film highlights of what happened during your event on the day. It would be great to see how you planned for the day, the event itself, and the results. The video should be no longer than 2 minutes in length.

To help you spread the campaign message, we have created a set of 10 postcards encouraging positive behavioural change for you to use during WCFFDay. These postcards can be downloaded for FREE here. These postcards can be shared online (via social media), and/or printed off and handed out to people at WCFFDay events. There are currently English translations with further translations in other languages coming soon. As part of your entry to the video competition, be sure to include your use of the postcards.

As part of the competition, there will be two categories:

  • ‘Most social media likes’
  • ‘Judge’s favourite’

For each category there will be one winner. To be the winner of the ‘Most social media likes’ category, the winner will have the most social media likes on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and which the judges believe shows ACFF’s core values. The two winners will each win an iPad.

To submit your video entry, please upload it to: admin@acffglobal.org. We recommend submitting the video file in an MP4 format. The deadline for all entries is 23:29 14th November 2022 BST/GMT. Be sure to submit your entry before the deadline to enter the competition! Once the competition closes, all entries will be available to view on the ACFF Global Youtube page. The ACFF Global Team will review all entries and winners will be announced in December.

We look forward to seeing your entries! #WCFFDay2022 #LetsGetBrushing
