
Professor Nigel Pitts – ACFF Global Chairman
Professor Nigel Pitts (FRSE BDS Ph.D FDS RCS (Eng) FDS RCS (Edin) FFGDP (UK) FFPH) has served worked within the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences at King’s College London since 2013.
Alongside his work at King’s, he is the leader of the Global Collaboratory for Caries Management (GCCM) initiative and co-founder director of the ICDAS foundation.
He is also an Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health to Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and a Past President of the European Organisation for Caries Research (ORCA), the British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry (BASCD) and the European Association for Dental Public Health (EADPH).

Nick Miller – ACFF Global Manager
Nick joined the ACFF in 2021 after previously managing events and operations for small and medium youth charities for five years.
As Global Manager, Nick coordinates the charity’s global operations and network of volunteer Chapters. He is also responsible for the charity’s financial operations, governance requirements and partnerships operations and works closely with the Board of Trustees and Chairman to ensure that the ACFF is also striving to fulfil its goals.

Dr Marco Mazevet – Research and Development Partner
Marco graduated from the Rennes Dental School in 2016 and is currently working with the ACFF as he completes his PhD at King’s College London. His studies focus on the economic evaluation of caries control programmes in the field of dentistry.
Marco is involved in several international dental organisations and was the 2014/15 President of the European Dental Students’ Association.
Marco has worked within a number of organisations including with the Council of European Dentists, Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) and the FDI World Dental Federation. He also participates in the French Dental Association international representation.

The ACFF Global Expert Panel oversees and guides the work of the ACFF.
